We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team, supporting all sites within The King's School, Canterbury . This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of robust, responsive, and high-quality IT services across a historic and innovative educational environment.
The successful candidate will provide 1st to 3rd line support, managing hardware, software, and network systems across Windows and macOS environments. Responsibilities include maintaining and configuring network infrastructure, deploying devices and applications, supporting classroom and event AV systems, and ensuring cyber security standards are upheld.
Applicants should have relevant IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft certifications), strong troubleshooting skills, and significant experience in multi-tiered support roles. Knowledge of JAMF, Aruba, AV setups, Microsoft 365, and working within a school setting is desirable. You'll be a confident communicator, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users and work collaboratively with academic and support staff. A flexible approach, excellent organisation, and commitment to safeguarding are essential.
