Scope of Role

Reporting to our IT Service Delivery Manager, as an IT Support Specialist, your primary role will be to support the Systems Administrator with a variety of tasks including Hardware/Software setup and supporting the IT team by providing essential support services to the wider company.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will:
  • Set up laptops for new users (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Utilise the IT Service Desk tool to interact with employees experiencing first-level IT support issues
  • Learn about system administration across business systems such as Office 365, JIRA, Slack, and Teams Phone
  • Develop excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • Have strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Possess a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Work pragmatically
  • Have strong computer skills
  • Pre-existing knowledge of using a Service Desk tool is advantageous
  • ITIL knowledge is beneficial
