About the role
We’re looking for a customer-focused IT Support Officer to join the team at BGL Corporate Solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of our IT systems and services. You’ll assist with maintaining internal infrastructure and provide hands-on support to staff across a wide range of IT issues. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid technical foundation who enjoys solving problems and helping others.

What you'll be doing

Provide Level 1 and 2 helpdesk support to end users, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally

Perform routine system maintenance and basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth IT operations

Troubleshoot a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, peripheral devices, and network problems

Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential issues before they escalate

Prioritize support tickets and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary

Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, support tasks, and resolutions

Manage and update the IT asset inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting

What we're looking for

Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology, or 1–2 years of relevant experience

Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and software

Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting

Basic understanding of network systems and infrastructure, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new hardware and software platforms

Customer service mindset and motivated to help others resolve their IT challenges

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Well-organized with the ability to maintain clear and thorough documentation
