Siemens Healthineers MR Magnet Technology is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of superconducting magnets for magnetic resonance imaging - over a third of MRI scanners installed worldwide have at their heart a magnet manufactured in our Eynsham factory. As an IT Support Manager you'll be leading a team of six split across support, providing 1st and 2nd line issue resolution services to circa 650 users which will increase when our new Bicester facility opens in 2026, and infrastructure. There are still plenty of interesting infrastructure related projects to be involved in relating to the new site, and all Eynsham site IT projects will fall under your management, therefore proven experience of structure project management in previous roles will be essential. • Implement and maintain ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and change management
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues
  • Ensure IT assets and resources are effectively managed
  • Act as the primary point of contact between IT support and business stakeholders

About You:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Manager or in a similar leadership role, managing a team supporting upwards of 300+ users.
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - able to demonstrate prior experience in managing end to end delivery of IT related projects using a structured methodology
  • Expertise in ITIL frameworks, with an ITIL certification (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with IT support systems, ticketing tools, and remote support technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise applications is a plus.
  • Degree in a relevant IT related subject.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PM@Siemens, PRINCE, etc.)

Our Benefits:

  • 26 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell an additional 5
  • Up to 10% employer pension contribution
  • Share and bonus scheme
  • Access to our flexible benefits from private medical insurance and EV cars to dental cover
  • Free to use onsite gym
  • 2 paid volunteering days a year
  • Up to £250 reimbursement against a single course training cost, which can be for anything you like, professional or personal related.
