Lloyd Motor Group is seeking an IT Support Field Engineer to strengthen our North East IT presence across multiple dealerships. The role combines on-site and remote support, site visits, and project work to maintain dealership IT systems.

With 3+ years in field engineering, you’ll handle infrastructure, servers, networks, and end-user hardware. We offer a hybrid schedule, company car, and comprehensive benefits to support your development.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT support for escalated or infrastructure-related issues.
• Conduct site visits to maintain and support dealership IT systems and networks.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, end-user hardware, and dealership systems.
• Support IT projects including hardware upgrades, system rollouts, and new site setups.
• Monitor infrastructure health, perform backups, and proactively resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with third-party vendors and support cybersecurity incident response.
• Assist with user support tasks such as account setup, password resets, and service desk ticket management.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a IT Support Field Engineerto join Lloyd Motor Group.

Due to continued business growth and increasing demand across our sites, we are expanding our IT team and are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join us in this region.

While you’ll be part of our wider IT support team, your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and systems in the North East, where we have a ever growing presence.

Salary: Competitive -A company car is also included as part of the benefits package for this role

Hours: Hybrid role -09:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday hours may vary depending on the needs of the business.

Experience required: At least 3 years of experience as a field engineer, with preferred experience in franchise and motor trade IT infrastructure.
