Excellent opportunity to join a global leader in IT services, support and infrastructure. My client is a household name who needs no introduction. A trusted and long term UK defence partner this role is brand new due to huge demand and growth in the sector. This role is ideal for support specialists who want to contribute to project work and skill up with new tools and tech.

On offer

• Salary - Up to £52k - D.O.E.
• 37.5 hours per week with ZERO on call - Roles are Mon-Fri
• Shift patterns - 7 a.m - 3.30 p.m. or 10.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• 1st class skill up and career progression (Includes new certification support)
• Optional paid overtime available on a volunteer basis
• Opportunity for project work as well as support

What do I need?

• Skills supporting/administering the following tools and tech - Windows Server, Windows OS, Active Directory, VMWare, Back Up procedures, Physical server racking etc
• Experience on a service desk working to SLA's and familiar with escalation protocols
• Highly desirable but not essential skills - Linux support, Scripting for automation (Powershell, CLI or similar)
• Desire to learn new tools and tech
• As this role will be working on national defence candidates will be subject to security clearance checks up to DV level - Sole British National. Candidates will receive a 10% bonus upon completion of security checks.
• This role is initially 5 days on site at Stevenage but subject to hybrid options in the future depending on work load.
