Job summary

AWD Online is hiring an IT Support Engineer / Service Desk Analyst in Birkenhead to provide hands-on technical support across hardware, software and infrastructure. You will manage incidents, maintain IT asset records and support service transitions for new or existing services.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers and colleagues, with occasional travel to other sites and a requirement for a basic background check.

Qualifications

• ITIL Service Management Foundation accreditation or willingness to study.
• Knowledge and experience of working in an IT environment and IT incident management.
• Experience dealing with Windows-related incidents in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st/2nd line IT support to keep colleagues productive and secure.
• Manage incidents and work queues, maintain asset records.
• Assist with IT projects and service transitions into BAU support.
