Bellrock is a rapidly growing facilities and property management provider, expanding organically and through acquisitions.

This role is for an IT Technician and Customer Service representative based at our Leicester office. We seek an enthusiastic individual passionate about technology to support our busy IT Department, providing excellent customer service to onsite and remote employees.

The IT team supports over 1,500 users across multiple sites in England and Scotland. The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and confidence under pressure.

The role involves office-based work five days a week, with occasional travel to other sites. Responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd line IT support, assisting with recent acquisitions, supporting hardware, software, AV, and user needs, and remote communication with the wider IT team.

On-the-job training and mentorship from senior team members will be provided.

How will you be the change?

Every role at Bellrock is vital in delivering peace of mind to our customers. As an IT Support Engineer, you will:

  • Provide end-user IT support in person and via phone
  • Manage and resolve IT Service Desk tickets
  • Set up new user accounts and Office 365 mailboxes
  • Troubleshoot issues with IT devices
  • Configure mobile devices using MDM platforms like Intune
  • Maintain the IT Asset Register
  • Install and configure operating systems and applications

What does it take?

To succeed, you should have:

  • Broad knowledge of IT systems
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Experience configuring Windows 11
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with computer imaging
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Security Groups, and Group Policy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and O365 online
  • Support for AV and conference equipment
  • At least 3 years of IT experience
  • 5 GCSEs grades A-C
  • ITIL and Microsoft certifications are advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Working arrangements

We promote flexible working, with roles that allow remote work where possible. This position requires working from our Leicester Head Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
