Kuiper IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure, warehousing operations, production environments, and laboratory facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring reliable technology systems across our organization.

Key job responsibilities
• This is a 2nd shift position working Mon-Fri 2:00 PM shift start.
• Perform work via ticketing system while maintaining standard work compliance
• Interact with network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Provide technical support for different test stations and their components and associated software
• Maintain system security and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Respond to and resolve critical infrastructure issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades
• Assist with project implementations and technology deployments
• Participate in oncall responsibilities.


A day in the life
You start the day by reviewing critical incidents that need to be prioritized. After addressing immediate concerns, you will join the daily team stand up and work on projects and tickets critical to production and take part with a rotating on-call. In this role, you will build relationships with production teams, mentor, and ensure stability and standardization. Operational excellence and customer obsession are core values of this role, as we own providing best-in-class services to the critical Kuiper production environment.

About the team
Kuiper IT Services is a fast paced technical support organization that is focused on supporting large scale business initiatives while keeping a Day1 mentality. Our support scope involves several highly technical areas such as Production Operations, Lab Operations, Launch, and Warehousing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
- 3+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience
- 3+ years of technical support experience
- 3+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent
- Capable of working in manufacturing and laboratory environments
- Perform OnCall duties as required
- Perform occasional travel as dictated by business need

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of supporting a windows server environment experience
- Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment
- CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking certifications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $122,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
