Job description

IT Support Engineer
Barnsley, South Yorkshire - S74

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and ambitious individual to join a market leading manufacturing brand.

This role reports directly into the IT Manager, creating a small team to support an ever-growing business. As such you will get your hands on all hardware, server, applications and some dev tech. The full 360!

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Providing desktop support which will include solving and closing tickets
  2. Assisting with onsite hardware support and mobile devices
  3. Infrastructure maintenance
  4. Maintaining operating systems ensuring they are up to date and patched
  5. Hosting IT workshops with internal staff
  6. IT procurement and printer/photocopiers maintenance
  7. General administration and data processing to include auditing equipment and keeping asset register updated
Experience and Knowledge Required
  1. A natural passion for IT
  2. Good communication skills (Written and over the telephone)

  7. Problem solving & troubleshooting
