Job Description

  • You will work as part of an established team serving as the primary contact for IT inquiries across Midlands offices.
  • Your responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of network systems, servers, and cloud services at a 3rd Line level.
  • You will collaborate with the Senior Infrastructure team on projects, focusing on Microsoft environments including Azure and Office365 migrations and upgrades.
  • Your role covers Modern Workplace, server management, networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls), and compliance with IT policies.
  • You will manage assets, monitor IT performance, and liaise with vendors for procurement and upgrades.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a similar IT Support Engineer role managing IT operations across multiple locations.
  • Microsoft Skills: Proficiency with Office365, Windows OS, Azure, and related cloud platforms.
  • Networking Skills: Experience with Cisco Meraki, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptability & Creativity: Capable of innovative problem-solving and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
