  • Planning and assisting in major service developments and their implementation.
  • Carrying out IT maintenance and software installations.
  • Maintaining the IT asset register and monitoring equipment loans.

Requirements

You should have experience working on a Service Desk or as an IT Engineer and be aiming to progress to an IT Manager role in the future. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience and certification in core Microsoft products such as Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and IT security packages.
  • Strong knowledge of server maintenance and/or network management.
  • A solid understanding of MS Intune.

  • Experience working with third-party services.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams at different skill levels and locations.
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
  • Experience in training staff on new systems and software adoption.

This role offers up to £33,000 per year, based in York. The company operates a policy of 2 days in the office per week. Some paid travel to other UK locations may be required on an ad-hoc basis.
