My customer is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join on a contract basis to ensure business continuity. The successful candidate will be able to provide day-to-day IT support alongside administration for the on-premises server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to Windows Server and Hyper-V environments.
• Supporting ongoing IT and infrastructure improvements.
• Windows Server administration and management.
• Providing day-to-day on-premises support to ensure business continuity.
• Monitoring and maintaining backup and storage systems.

Technical skills and experience required:

• Proven experience with Windows Server 2019 – 2022.
• Knowledge and experience working with Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Manager (VMM).
• Understanding of backup and recovery solutions.
• SQL Server experience is desirable but not essential.

The ideal candidate must be available immediately to work a hybrid position in Winchester.
