A forward-thinking technology partner established in the late 1990s, specializing in delivering cutting-edge solutions in the ever-evolving technical landscape, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in East Yorkshire.

They pride themselves on offering a comprehensive suite of services across four key areas: Software, IT Managed Services, Development, and Cloud Hosting. Whether you're seeking innovative software solutions, reliable IT management, bespoke development, or secure cloud hosting, they are eager to find solutions for their clients.

As the IT Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Visiting client sites on an ad hoc basis. Any necessary training to deliver seamless support will be provided.
  • Working within a team of like-minded tech professionals. Managing service tickets from start to finish, optimizing network and server maintenance, ensuring seamless tech operations.
  • Tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving requests while meeting SLAs. Applying a broad knowledge of various technologies to troubleshoot and deliver high-quality solutions that keep clients productive.
  • Managing service tickets, handling security, network administration, incidents, and technical faults, always aiming to meet or exceed SLAs.

This role requires flexibility, including occasional cross-site working at client locations and out-of-hours work. Collaboration is essential, whether working with colleagues to refine troubleshooting processes, document activities, or improve systems and services.

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with:

  • Experience in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Office 365, Azure, and networking (switches, firewalls, VLANs, etc.).
  • Strong customer relationship, communication, and professional skills, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to link technical issues with broad knowledge, diagnose problems efficiently, explain solutions clearly, and achieve positive outcomes.
