SC Cleared Support IT Engineer

We are seeking Support Engineers across the UK for a large migration project. SC clearance is mandatory to apply for this role. Locations available are listed at the bottom of this post.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ticket Management: Manage and update support tickets efficiently, ensuring service levels meet contractual agreements.
  2. Stock & Asset Management: Oversee stock, including scanning and tracking IT equipment movements in accordance with contractual obligations.
  3. Disposal Management: Handle the disposal process for IT assets following established procedures.
  4. Hardware Repair & Vendor Liaison: Diagnose and repair hardware under warranty, coordinate with vendors for parts and returns.
  5. Locker Replenishment: Replenish IT equipment lockers as specified.
  6. Service Improvement: Identify and report potential service issues or improvement opportunities to your Team Leader.
  7. Process Adherence: Follow all processes, site regulations, and guidelines diligently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with asset and stock management.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with ITSM best practices is advantageous.
  • SC Clearance is required.
