About

IT Support Engineer – Swindon - £30,000 to £38,000

Swindon/Wiltshire organisation is looking to add an experienced IT Support Engineer to their growing team. This role is office-based, five days a week. It is a varied position where you will support the IT infrastructure while ensuring the security and integrity of systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and other hardware.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful operation of the IT department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong technical skills, including experience with networking, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Experience with O365 (Azure AD), Windows Server Administration, MS Servers, VMWare, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Intune and MS Defender is a plus.
• Networking skills: LAN, VLAN, WAN, switches, routers.
• UK driving license.
