As a member of our Production Team, and one of our IT Support Engineers, you will work with the wider teams and under the direction of the IT Support Manager to ensure that our software solutions and customers receive excellent technical support. The IT Support Engineer will act with reliability, maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to all Company policies and procedures and be a champion of the Company Values at all times.

Location

Headquartered in the North Lincolnshire village of Kirmington, we also have offices in Hull, East Yorkshire and fully support a remote working schedule.

Accountabilities

You will play a key role in the following tasks:

  • Progressing service desk tickets independently and collaboratively via our Jira support system
  • Analyse bespoke application issues and provide solutions
  • Learn and configure new features within our application
  • Proactively identifying recurring customer issues and suggesting improvements to the knowledge base
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on servers to maintain optimal performance
  • Reviewing audit logs to diagnose and resolve problems
  • Setting up hardware and accounts for new starters
  • Supporting internal staff with IT issues and queries
  • Participating in our Tier 1 Out of Hours Support rotation (with additional on-call pay)

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to tick every box, but the ideal candidate will bring:

  • Around 2–3 years' experience in an IT Support role (SaaS/software background helpful but not essential)
  • A Level 3 qualification in IT (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
  • Basic Linux knowledge and a willingness to learn more
  • Strong SQL skills for application-level troubleshooting
  • Solid experience with Windows OS and user support
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar
  • A quick grasp of new technical concepts and tools
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive, problem solving mindset
  • A focus on delivering excellent customer service and support
