Full time (35 hrs/wk), permanent

Based Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) with up to 2 days per week working from home

Salary Circa £26,000 Pa Plus Benefits

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy and fast-paced Technology team within our specialist, predominately online University. You will manage and support IT systems across the University, providing an excellent service for all students and staff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career, develop their skillset, and grow their technical knowledge.

Your Accountabilities And Responsibilities Include

  • Manage incoming incidents and service requests in line with the SLA.
  • Update customers throughout the lifecycle of their service ticket.
  • Follow technology procedures for setting up new starters, arranging changes, and managing leavers.
  • Collaborate both within and outside of the team.

Our Main Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above.
  • Previous experience in a similar/technical support role for Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support users at all levels.
  • An understanding of the configuration of hardware; laptops and peripherals including printers.
  • Troubleshooting ability and keenness to learn.
