Job Description:

IT Support Engineer needed to join a small team at their Preston offices (onsite daily). We’re seeking someone with excellent infrastructure support skills, a proactive and inquisitive approach, and strong communication skills. You will handle a variety of support tasks and project work within a supportive, learning-driven team.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Entra (Identity), Exchange (Email), Defender (Security), and Intune (Endpoint Management).
• Understanding of Networking, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with security best practices, including MFA, SSO, endpoint protection, access controls, and phishing prevention.
• Support experience with Windows and Mac devices, mobile devices, AV equipment, tablets, and other IT hardware.
• Proactive, curious, and positive attitude with ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

This role involves a mix of 1st to 3rd line support and project challenges. You will support approximately 100 users across MS and network technologies, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely. You will participate in tech rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and performance monitoring, always seeking process improvements and sustainability enhancements.
