Job Description:

IT Support Engineer needed to join a small team at their Newcastle offices (onsite daily). We’re seeking someone with excellent infrastructure support skills, a proactive and inquisitive approach, and strong communication skills. You will handle a mix of support tasks and project work within a supportive, learning-driven team.

Required Skills:

• Microsoft 365 including Entra (Identity), Exchange (Email), Defender (Security), and Intune (Endpoint Management).
• Networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with security practices: MFA, SSO, endpoint protection, access controls, phishing prevention.
• Support experience with Windows (and some Mac devices), Mobile devices, AV equipment, tablets, and other IT hardware.
• Pro-active, curious, positive attitude, ownership of projects.

Responsibilities:

This role involves a mix of 1st to 3rd line support and project work supporting approximately 100 users across various MS and network technologies. You will ensure systems run smoothly and securely, support tech rollouts, migrations, upgrades, monitor performance, security, and manage devices and updates. You will collaborate with others to optimize processes and improve user experience with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.
