Are you ready to take your IT career to the next level? Do you thrive on solving technical challenges? Want to be part of a dynamic team that keeps critical systems running smoothly? We are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer - Production to join our busy team in Milton Keynes!

As an IT Support Engineer - Production, you will play a critical role in maintaining the availability and performance of our Sigma Production infrastructures and applications. You will support IT production systems, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software faults, and implement operational efficiencies through automation. Additionally, your role will involve managing key services, providing HelpDesk support, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance our systems and processes. Your contributions will ensure that our IT platform operates seamlessly and meets our customers' needs.

Hours of Work: 8 Hour Working Day, Monday to Friday, covering various shift patterns (08:00 - 17:00, 08:30 - 17:30, 09:00 - 18:00, 09:30 - 18:30) with a one-hour scheduled lunch break. Out-of-hours work may occasionally be required.

This is a 12month fixed term contract

IT Support Engineer - Production Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in supporting large infrastructures and providing a range of technology services.
• Proven experience with relevant technologies such as Linux, MySQL, Docker, Java, and Apache.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.) is highly advantageous.
• Strong skills in automation and shell scripting.
• A proven record of delivering excellent customer support and handling service requests effectively.
