Cundall leads in providing creative, sustainable design solutions. To support our growth, we seek a hands-on, organized, and collaborative IT Support Engineer to assist our global team of engineers.

The Role

As part of our expanding UK and international operations, we are hiring an IT Support Engineer for our London office. You will resolve user issues via the Service Desk, providing first-line support for all Cundall users, including remote support and administration of desktops, laptops, and Microsoft Teams. The role may involve travel to other Cundall offices.

You will act as a primary contact for external consultants and internal management, liaising effectively as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a problem-solving attitude, the ability to give clear technical instructions, and familiarity with remote troubleshooting techniques. Your goal will be to ensure prompt, accurate customer service and timely resolution of IT issues.

The Skills

A formal bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT is required, along with proven experience in first/second line support. Experience within a Professional Services Firm, and familiarity with build and deployment via SCCM/MS Intune, are preferred.

You should have support experience with Microsoft Teams, Windows OS, Servers, Cisco VPN, WLANs, Newforma, MS Office, NAS, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS. Basic network troubleshooting, structured cabling, PC setup, and remote control skills (TeamViewer, RDP) are also necessary.

You must demonstrate the ability to navigate knowledge bases, resolve technical issues, and contribute to knowledge sharing. High standards for attention to detail, organization, thoroughness, and collaboration are essential.

Additional skills include network administration, scripting, debugging, hardware commissioning, customer service orientation, and excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
