Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our team at EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd. This full-time, junior-level position is based in Homebush, Homebush West, Box Hill, Box Hill South, and Box Hill North. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience in IT support, working efficiently to manage and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
- Experience with Active Directory for managing and maintaining user accounts and permissions.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server environments for managing network resources.
- Skilled in Office 365 Administration to configure, manage, and support Office 365 services.
- Capability in network configuration to set up, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices.
- Experience with remote desktop support to assist users with IT-related queries and issues.
- Familiarity with the ITIL Framework for effective IT service management and delivery processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow for handling and resolving service requests (Mandatory skill).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide frontline IT support to internal and external stakeholders by diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Manage user accounts and profiles within Active Directory to maintain security protocols and operations.
- Configure and maintain Windows servers, ensuring regular updates and system integrity.
- Administer Office 365 applications to optimize user experience and address client needs.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of networking hardware and software systems.
- Deliver remote desktop support to resolve issues promptly and reduce downtime.
- Apply ITIL practices to enhance service delivery and manage workflows efficiently.
- Utilize ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and manage all support queries and service requests effectively.
