  • Up to c 32,000 per year

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Understanding of standard computing systems and networking principles.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 and basic networking TCP/IP knowledge.
  • Have a good understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure.
  • Windows 11 and Server exposure in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common issues with various devices and software.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities to interact clearly and constructively with team members and business users.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, including the capacity to prioritize and adapt to both planned and reactive work effectively.
  • Any knowledge of Power BI or PowerShell is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using service desk tools and remote support software.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLAs.

The Opportunity:

My client working are a hospitality and events business based in Luton and they are looking for an IT Support Engineer on a permanent basis.

The initial purpose of this new role is to support the client with all of its IT requirements that will see you take responsibility for securing the IT network and providing core support to all of their staff members.

The IT Support Engineer will work alongside and support the IT Manager in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting day-to-day issues and helping to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

This position requires a good understanding of various hardware and software technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external vendors.
