Job Opportunity: IT Support Engineer (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Join a Cyber and Digital Transformation Consultancy operating within the UK Defence Industry. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for an IT Support Engineer, with potential for extension beyond 12 months.

You will be part of a small IT support team of three, providing support to internal users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide 1st and 2nd line IT Support.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
3. Install and manage secure networking systems.
4. Provide training on newly installed hardware and software systems.
5. Create documentation for technical processes.
6. Configure and maintain Endpoint devices using Intune.

Experience Required

1. Eligibility for SC Security Clearance.
2. Experience with Microsoft Azure and 365 platforms (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
3. Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
4. A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
