Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of first-line support experience on the Windows platform.
  • Experience in desktop computer assembly and Microsoft Windows/Office.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support by answering calls and emails.
  • Log issues in the service desk and provide regular updates.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers for complex issues.
  • Maintain documentation coordination with the IT manager.
  • Ensure IT services and equipment are functioning properly.
  • Train users on Microsoft and other 3rd party products.

Responsibilities
  • Front-line support - answering calls and emails from members of staff and providing initial guidance
  • Ensuring all issues raised are logged in the service desk, and end users receive regular updates on their support issues
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers on more complex problems before escalating to the System Administrator
  • Maintain IT team documentation in coordination with the IT manager
  • Ensure all IT services in meeting rooms and pool equipment are tested regularly
  • Ensure all desks have fully functional IT equipment
  • Physical assembly of new computers and IT equipment, including network cabling
  • User induction and training on Microsoft and 3rd party products
  • The primary applications supported are MS 365 Office suite + Office 365 Services such as SharePoint + Windows 10 and 11 + Active Directory + Azure + MS Edge / Chrome + File Servers + Office 365 Exchange + Office 365 SharePoint + Office 365 MS Teams
  • Basic printing support
  • First and second-line support for users in HK, Australia, India, the UK and the US
  • Project-based in coordination with the Infrastructure Engineer and Head of IT
Qualifications
  • Nice to have: Comptia A+, Network +. Windows or MS 365, CCNA qualifications
  • Desktop computer assembly
  • Experience of Microsoft Windows and Office package
  • Supporting a business network
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Enjoy speaking to and dealing with staff at all levels of the business
  • Enjoy working in a busy medium size business with offices in London, Hong Kong and the US
  • 2 to 3 years of first-line support experience on the Windows platform
