Job description

Job Title – IT Support Coordinator

Department/Sector – I.T

Job Location – West Sussex

Salary – £24k

Our client is recruiting an IT support coordinator who will be working in a small team alongside the Head of Information Services, IT Support and Training Coordinator, and a Developer.

In the role, you will ensure that problems are handled in the most efficient manner, whether it be resolved by yourself or effectively coordinated between the IT providers, internal IT, and other third-party software vendors.

You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as making sure staff changes are accurately reflected in the IT system, maintaining their SharePoint intranet, updating project plans, maintaining the asset list, and scheduling workshops and training sessions.

There will be numerous software projects which you will be involved in as well.

Responsibilities:
  • User software and hardware support including
  • Log support calls
  • Co-ordinate support providers to resolve complex support issues
  • Set up IT equipment
  • General IT project assistance
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
  • Remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Well organised
  • Work independently
  • Identify and address self-development areas with regards to unfamiliar IT systems
  • Will need to be flexible and ‘muck in’ when required
