Job description

IT Support Coordinator

Location: Birmingham

Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP26,000 per year

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 4.30

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is assisting one of our established clients in recruiting for an IT Support Coordinator to join their expanding team. We also have an IT Apprentice position available, which offers comprehensive training and a great opportunity for those willing to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Coordinator:
  1. Manage hardware stocks.
  2. Manage software and licensing requirements.
  3. Assist with the installation of new hardware and software as needed.
  4. Capture and address all IT/Telephony support requirements.
  5. Maintain IT policies & procedures.
  6. Collaborate with internal users, site IT support staff, and external service providers to ensure optimal user access.
  7. Maintain the company's IT knowledge database.
  8. Participate in UK-wide IT/Telephony projects, including integrating new company acquisitions, group projects, new UK systems, and upgrades.
  9. Promote the company's core values, CSR commitments, and ethos of Building Success Together.
Requirements of the IT Support Coordinator:
  1. Practical knowledge of IT/Telephony installations.
  2. Ability to work independently, as the manager will work part-time.
  3. Well-organized working style.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple demands effectively.
  6. Effective communication skills on technical and procedural matters.
  7. Willingness and ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment.
  8. Willingness and ability to travel to other UK locations.
