The apprentice’s role is to provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers by using tools or systems to problem solve and troubleshoot routine and non-routine IT-related problems. Duties include the installation of software and hardware and supporting business-critical systems, operating systems, and applications.

Duties

• Answering the telephone, responding to emails, and updating requests
• Providing first-line analysis of all IT issues and ensuring SLAs are met
• Keeping customers informed of the status and progress of tasks and updating tickets
• Completing other service-related tasks as required by your manager
• Attending all learning events and completing all apprenticeship assignments to a good standard and on time

About you

To be an IT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A*–C, 4–9) including Maths and English.

This 18-month Apprenticeship offers a salary of £15,000 per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognized Level 3 IT qualifications.
