Job summary

A technology support company is seeking an IT Support Apprentice in the West of England. This remote role requires occasional visits to the Bristol office. The apprentice will provide client-focused support, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to sustainability practices. IT SUPPORT APPRENTICE

This is a remote role, with occasional visits to the BRISTON office when required. Ideally, you would be a driver.

  • Resource the Service Desk and provide responsive, client-focused Level 1 support to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Evaluate, categorise, and perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques for timely resolution of client queries and issues.
  • Record client queries and resolutions to contribute to a knowledge base for future reference.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next support level, managing client expectations and sharing timescales.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and update self-help documents for customer self-service and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the organisation’s sustainability goals by adopting environmentally responsible practices, minimising resource waste, and supporting initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint.
  • Stay informed about the company's sustainability policies and participate in relevant training and awareness programs.
  • Have a foundational understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
