A UK public organisation is seeking an ICT Support and Development Officer for their Manchester office. The role involves supporting end users with IT requests and participating in service improvements. Candidates should have experience in IT support and effective communication skills. This position is critical for maintaining high standards of service within the organisation.
We are the final stage for complaints about the NHS in England, UK government departments, and some other UK public organisations. We look into complaints where someone believes there has been injustice or hardship because an organisation has not acted properly or fairly or has given a poor service and not put things right.
The ICT Support and Development Officer is part of the small internal IT support technical team, reporting to the ICT Service Manager.
You will work independently and respond to support requests raised over the telephone, via email, or face-to-face from staff based in our Manchester and London offices.
The primary focus of your role will be to support end users with their requests, but there will be opportunities to work on projects and service improvements.
Your application should be in the form of a written CV.
You should consider the person specification and the competencies required for the role.
