Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
  • Experience in the Motor Trade is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite, remote desktop, and server support for client IT systems.
  • Install and configure ICT devices including laptops and servers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, providing solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in line with service desk policy.
  • Cable networks and set up IT equipment.

We are now recruiting for a Support Analyst to join our IT department.

You will provide operational support for all IT and Telecommunication systems within the company.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday on a rotational basis, changing every two weeks (7am - 3pm, 9am - 5pm, and 10am - 6pm), and the salary is up to £33k per annum DOE.

Main Duties of the Role

  • Provide onsite, remote desktop, and server support for client IT systems and networks.
  • Install, configure, and support ICT issues with laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and servers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, providing solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and task status in line with the service desk policy.
  • Maintain, set up, and cable networks.
  • Provide technical assistance both written and verbal.
  • Order IT equipment as needed.

To Be Effective in This Role, You Will Have

  • Experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and flexibility to handle various tasks.
  • Understanding of current IT trends and capabilities.

Experience in the Motor Trade is advantageous but not essential.
