As IT Support Administrator, you'll be in our Engineering team and expected to be onsite at out Pontypool office for 2/3 days a week. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing end-user support, and maintaining IT infrastructure to optimise performance and security.

What you'll be doing:
- Providing IT support to all Owl colleagues, including hardware and software troubleshooting, resolving issues promptly
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, this includes software updates, system backups, and security patch deployment to ensure system integrity
- Monitor and manage our network performance, ensuring seamless connectivity and resolving any network related issues
- Document details of technical issues and solutions, to enhance the efficiency of the support you provide
- Working with Compliance and the People team to ensure the onboarding process is smooth and supportive for new starters. Setting up accounts, ordering laptops and equipment
- Track and manage IT assets, including hardware and software inventories, to ensure we have accurate and up to date records, including visiting the TOC to wipe down any returned assets
- Manage the supplier relationship for laptops, ensuring they are providing a good service
- Manage the deactivation of user accounts for leavers in a timely manner and repurpose or ensure secure disposal of returned hardware
- Updating the active directory with new starters and leavers in a timely manner
- Conduct training sessions for colleagues to increase their skills and knowledge with IT systems and applications
- Liaise with our MXDR partner, Chorus, and address any issues they raise promptly and effectively
- Work closely with members of the Engineering team to support various IT projects
- Identify and implement enhancements to current processes and ways of working to drive efficiency, innovation, and improved outcomes.

You're someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field if not enough experience in an IT support role or a similar role
- Experience of administering a Microsoft 354 environment
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT support tools. Familiarity with network management and security protocols.
- Knowledge of GDPR
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
