Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking an experienced IT Supplier Manager for a 6-month contract in Reading. You will lead the IT supplier strategy, manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and drive the full supplier lifecycle from selection to offboarding.

The role requires active SC or DV clearance, and offers a rate up to GBP 88 per hour Inside IR35 (DOE).

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in IT supplier management, covering supplier selection, contracting, performance management and offboarding.
• Experience developing and executing IT supplier strategies, ideally within a regulated environment such as Aerospace & Defence.
• Strong commercial and contract negotiation experience, preferably internationally.
• Good understanding of IT compliance, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of the IT supplier landscape, including System Integrators (SIs).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute the IT supplier strategy in line with technology and Value Stream roadmaps.
• Manage key relationships between internal stakeholders and IT suppliers.
• Support tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract renewals.
• Manage day-to-day supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations.
• Identify and resolve supplier service gaps, risks, compliance issues and performance concerns.
• Lead and participate in supplier performance reviews, CABs and IT operations meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost effectiveness and service quality.
