Job summary

RC Fornax Ltd is seeking an IT supplier management professional for a 7-month contract in Reading. You will lead vendor governance, manage the full supplier lifecycle, and collaborate with procurement, service management and finance to optimize IT supplier performance. Active SC clearance is essential.

You will drive risk mitigation, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and negotiate complex IT contracts across infrastructure, cloud, apps and managed services.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is essential.
• Proven experience in IT Supplier Management, Vendor Management or Supplier Relationship Management.
• Experience managing IT suppliers across infrastructure, cloud, applications, managed services or digital technology environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating and managing complex IT contracts.
• Demonstrable experience establishing supplier governance frameworks and managing supplier performance through SLAs and KPIs.
• Experience supporting procurement, sourcing, tendering or supplier selection activities.
• Strong understanding of supplier risk management, compliance and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute supplier management strategies that improve supplier performance, reduce risk and support business objectives.
• Lead the day-to-day management of strategic IT suppliers across a complex digital and technology environment.
• Manage the full IT supplier lifecycle, including supplier evaluation, onboarding, governance, performance management and offboarding.
• Drive supplier governance activities, facilitating supplier reviews and ensuring delivery against agreed SLAs, KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Work closely with Procurement, Service Management, Finance and Technology teams to optimise supplier relationships and service outcomes.
• Identify, manage and mitigate supplier-related risks, performance issues and compliance concerns.
