TÜV SÜD America seeks a highly motivated and forward-thinking IT Strategy & Innovation Specialist to support the strategic direction and digital innovation of the IT Department. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Director of IT and focuses on coordinating IT strategy initiatives, identifying emerging technologies, and fostering innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong project coordination skills, a passion for technology and strategy, and the ability to connect business needs with IT capabilities in a global context.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in IT strategy, business analysis, or digital transformation roles. Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI, cloud platforms, or automation tools. Experience coordinating strategic initiatives or cross-functional projects. Familiarity with innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking) is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong strategic and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and documentation skills. High organizational and project coordination capabilities. Ability to understand and explain complex technical topics in business terms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel); experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus. Fluency in English; German skills are a strong plus.
