Purpose of the role
To optimize and address Barclays' third-party spend, develop strategies for relevant categories, collaborate with stakeholders, and execute sourcing strategies.

Accountabilities

• Profile spend, understand business strategy, identify sourcing needs, develop RFPs, and align sourcing activities with bank priorities.
• Plan and execute sourcing events, negotiate to meet business requirements for value, speed, compliance, and risk.
• Monitor controls and compliance, including regulatory engagement, audits, and data quality.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for sourcing activities.
• Identify and deliver process improvements, including channel optimization.
• Stay informed on industry trends through conferences, training, and market research.
