Job summary

Raytheon UK is recruiting an IT Solution Architect to design scalable, secure solutions across applications, systems, and services. You will contribute to roadmaps, strategy, and architectural principles while ensuring governance and compliance across initiatives.

You will work with product owners and PMO to maintain an architectural runway that supports evolving business needs, in a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation within the defence and aerospace sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution architecture, application design, or infrastructure architecture.
• Strong understanding of enterprise, application, security, and network architecture principles.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions across Microsoft, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and multi-cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Create high-level and low-level architectural designs to guide solution development across products, services, projects, and systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information).
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, technical strategy and architectural principles.
• Attend governance forums to ensure solutions architecture assurance and compliance.
• Adhere to standards and patterns to align decisions with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
• Collaborate with product owners/managers to ensure a robust architectural runway for future requirements.
• Work with the PMO to align project plans with what is promised throughout the lifecycle.
