Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer with solid commercial experience in Next.js/React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#. The role includes ownership of features end-to-end and contributing to technical decisions within a collaborative team.

The position is hybrid at the Wolverhampton NDC with a minimum of 3 days in the office; own transportation is required due to limited public transport access.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' commercial experience as a software engineer/developer.
• Strong practical experience with Next.js/React for web development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
• Experience designing and working with MySQL databases, including writing performant queries.
• Confidence working with version control systems (e.g., Git) in a team workflow.
• A portfolio or track record demonstrating relevant projects and skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid remote/office environment at our Wolverhampton NDC (3 days office, 2 home).

About The Role

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of MySQL, with exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms being a bonus. This role suits someone with several years of hands‑on experience who can work independently, take ownership of features end‑to‑end, and contribute to technical decisions within a collaborative team.
