About The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer/Developer who MUST have experience in Next.js & React, and C#. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript & MySQL, with some exposure to Azure or other cloud computing platforms being a bonus. This role is perfect for someone with a few years of hands-on experience, looking to grow their skills while contributing to exciting projects in a collaborative team.

This is a hybrid role, at our Wolverhampton NDC, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.

About You

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js/React, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Work with teams to integrate applications with APIs and databases, particularly using MySQL.
• Write clean, maintainable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Report to and work closely with the Lead Software Engineer to meet project goals and timelines.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience (as a mid level software engineer/developer)
• Must have practical experience with Next.js/React for web development.
• Must have practical experience with C#
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Experience working with MySQL databases.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant projects and skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Some knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
