JOB TITLE: Services and Solutions Sales Specialist

SALARY: £50,000-£55,000 base plus OTE

BENEFITS: Pension, 20 days holiday + 10 Personal days, and many more

LOCATION: Hertfordshire- 3-5 days in the office

Are you a seasoned Services and Solutions/Infrastructure sales specialist with experience at an IT reseller or IT MSP? Have you successfully sold to end-user clients? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you.

We are seeking a candidate who has a proven track record in selling a diverse range of Servers, Solutions, Networking, and Security products, delivering essential infrastructure solutions directly to B2B customers. Our client is a top 100 VAR in the IT channel, celebrated for their excellent company culture and ample development opportunities for employees.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

As a Solutions & Services Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and proposing IT solutions. You'll work closely with the sales, project management, and technical teams to understand the client's needs, propose the best solutions, and deliver high-quality results. You will also provide technical guidance for the solutions you create.

In addition, you'll also be responsible for the following:

  1. Analysing the client's business requirements and objectives and translating them into the relevant solution.
  2. Designing, developing, creating and proposing IT solutions using various technologies and platforms.
  3. Providing technical documentation and guidance for the solutions you create.
  4. Collaborating with the sales, project management, solutions consultants, and technical teams to ensure the solutions meet the client's expectations and budget.
  5. Providing technical guidance and justification for the solutions you create and maintain.
About you:

We are looking for an experienced and collaborative individual who has strong knowledge of infrastructure solutions.

In addition, you'll need:

  1. Experience in IT solutions development and proposal.
  2. Proficiency in various technologies and categories, including cloud, software, managed services, professional services, networking, server & storage, backup, and security.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking abilities.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  6. Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients.
  7. Experience in a customer-facing role.
