Job Description:

The EMEA IT Service Operations team at TikTok manages the IT and AV infrastructure across offices, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient technology experiences for end users. We seek a high-impact, outcome-driven Infrastructure & Automation engineer to enhance operational excellence across our EMEA IT estate. This strategic individual contributor role is ideal for someone with deep technical skills, curiosity, and the ability to influence cross-regionally without direct management. You will own the stability, scalability, and automation of our infrastructure and tools across 30+ offices and thousands of endpoints. This is an internal mobility opportunity to take on a more prominent, EMEA-wide role with broad stakeholder exposure and tangible influence over enterprise IT delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Operations: Support resilience, performance tuning, and documentation of enterprise infrastructure across EMEA, including LAN/WAN, wireless, server rooms, data centers, and AV systems. Own the regional DR/BCP program, ensuring documentation, testing, and alignment with global standards. Lead infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth transition from project to BAU with structured reviews. Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, firmware updates, and compliance. Conduct wireless assessments to optimize coverage and reliability.
  • Automation & AI Enablement: Build and maintain automation frameworks to eliminate manual tasks, accelerate service delivery, and improve regional performance. Design and implement AI-driven initiatives like agentic automation, copilot tools, and self-healing systems to enhance user experience and productivity.
  • Governance & Service Delivery: Ensure all infrastructure activities comply with policies, regulations, and audit standards through CAB participation. Manage service tickets within the ITSM platform, ensuring quality, timely updates, and SLA compliance. Maintain comprehensive documentation to support operational continuity and onboarding.
  • Observability & Reporting: Oversee infrastructure monitoring, develop dashboards, refine alerting, and produce reports to support decision-making and reliability. Act as the senior technical representative for EMEA IT Services, fostering strong regional relationships and collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience managing enterprise infrastructure across multiple countries.
  • Proven leadership in automation, scripting, or AI-enhanced operations (. Bash, Python, agentic frameworks).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles, CAB processes, and infrastructure governance.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership, and lead without direct authority.
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • CCNA or similar networking certification.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, coding, and automation frameworks (. ReAct, RAG, LangChain, etc.).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure deployment and database design (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience leading operational excellence in data centers, meeting room tech, or critical office infrastructure.
