Job summary
Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to lead the delivery, performance, and continual improvement of digital services that support patient care and operational delivery. You will guide service management, transition activities, and major incident response across clinical and corporate systems.
The role focuses on ensuring service readiness, stakeholder engagement, and supplier management, enabling safe, resilient digital services in a complex NHS
Qualifications
- Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English.
- Current ITIL foundation certificate (or willing to work towards).
Responsibilities
- Lead IT service management activities to meet performance and customer targets.
- Coordinate major incidents and restore critical services with technical teams and suppliers.
- Implement and improve ITIL-aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Transition).
- Oversee operational transition of EPR and other major systems into live service.
- Build strong relationships with clinical, operational, technical and supplier stakeholders.
