Job description

This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality IT services to end users, ensuring minimal service disruption and managing key third-party service providers. This is a permanent position requiring both office-based and remote work, with occasional travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to ensure secure, stable, and resilient IT platforms.
  • Ensure that new functionalities introduced as part of Project Change are included in the service catalogue.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of business applications, ensuring high performance and accurate reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance all reporting and KPI monitoring of ICT products and services provided by our IT supplier, including cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team on rolling out new services, policies, and procedures across the company and IT estate.
  • Maintain effective working relationships across the Group to optimise service delivery and leverage knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in IT service management, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in IT Service Desk operations and management.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management principles.
  • Experience in managing third-party IT service providers and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Experience with cybersecurity management is advantageous.
