The role

As a ITService Delivery Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be the key interface between Airtanker and Babcock Corporate Services, ensuring seamless delivery of IT services, managing transitions of new solutions and leading a dedicated on-site support team.

Day-to-day, you’ll be managing customer relationships through executive communication and stakeholder engagement.

  • Acting as a key escalation point and supporting cost-effective use of IT services
  • Participating in service transition activities to ensure smooth delivery
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals and meet operational needs
  • Producing project briefs and software requests aligned with sector standards

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days onsite and two days working from home.

Essential experience of the IT Service Delivery Manager:

  • Experience writing reports for senior stakeholders and presenting findings
  • Business analysis or requirements management
  • Strong understanding of IT and its business applications
  • Experience managing IT budgets or participating in commercial negotiations

Qualifications for the Service Delivery Manager:

  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner is desirable
