Job description

IT Service Delivery Manager

We are looking for a IT Service Delivery Manager to join our team at Harrods. This role will be responsible for ensuring the services that IT deliver meet business needs and perform to expected service levels across a specific domain.

About The Role

The IT Service Delivery Manager will own the service delivery and operational performance of a portfolio of services that underpins the Harrods business capabilities within a specific domain. As part of this role you will need to be on call which is done on a rota basis in the team, normal working hours will be 9-5pm.

This role is 3 days in the office

You will:

  • Be responsible for the operational management and improvement of core service management processes, particularly major incident, problem management, change management and release management.
  • Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our service management processes, managing any risk to the operational service
  • Educate and evangelise the ITSM functions and processes to our stakeholders and peers
  • Work in close collaboration with the project managers, service owners and functional support teams to identify and implement service

About You

Our ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of operational environments and technologies, as well as service design skills and experience of managing major incidents and releases. You will also have Previous experience in designing and managing the transition of services

You will need to have;

  • ITIL certification
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and bring people together to discuss shared objectives is highly desirable.
