Job description

Tetra Tech Ltd is an ambitious and growing business, with IT at the heart of that growth agenda. Our IT team uses state-of-the-art technology both in terms of infrastructure and software, supported by outstanding processes to serve our global customer base. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our energetic team. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek. The role will primarily be based at our Leeds Depot.

Your Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Ordering IT equipment such as laptops, mobiles, and peripherals.
  2. Managing the leaver process, including disabling accounts and tracking assets.
  3. Notifying staff of IT requirements when travelling abroad.
  4. Communicating with customers to confirm hardware and software needs for new and replacement equipment.
  5. Booking couriers for IT equipment delivery and collection.
  6. Managing workload within the Tetra Tech global ticketing system.
  7. Maintaining records on the global asset database.

Essential skills and qualities include:

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A basic understanding of Active Directory (training will be provided).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Determination and energy to 'make things happen'.
  • Discretion given the sensitive nature of some information.
  • Ability to follow established processes.
