Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in infrastructure or server engineering.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Azure environments and VMware technologies.
• Experience with cloud migration and supporting large server estates.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft services in on-premise/cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Applications teams on infrastructure projects.
• Take ownership of infrastructure problems until resolved.

As a Server Engineer at ZIGUP, you’ll install, configure, and maintain our Microsoft services across both on-premise and cloud environments. You’ll work on a wide range of mission-critical infrastructure projects - from SaaS integration and legacy site decommissioning to a major server modernisation effort as part of our Connect programme.

You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Applications, and Data teams to ensure our infrastructure is current, secure and scalable. Whether rolling out VXrail clusters, managing Azure tenants, or driving identity and access best practices - your expertise will help keep ZIGUP operating at full throttle.

About You

• You’ll bring 3-5+ years of experience working in infrastructure or server engineering within large, complex organisations.
• You have solid knowledge across:Microsoft O, Azure, and hybrid Active Directory environmentsVMware (especially VXrail), Hyper-V, and SAN technologies (e.g. NetApp)Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Azure security componentsCloud migration and multi-tenant Azure configurationSupporting large server estates (+ servers minimum)
• You’ll succeed in this role if you:Take ownership of infrastructure problems and see them through to resolutionAre comfortable producing design documentation and standardsStay current with cloud-first and security-first infrastructure trendsEnjoy working collaboratively to keep critical services running smoothly
