About the Role

Reporting to the Head of IT, the ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership experience, shaping the security posture, influencing cross-functional teams, and ensuring our systems, people, and processes are secure, compliant, and resilient.

Training Hours:

37.5 Hours

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Information Security Analysts.
• Maintain ISO 27001 ISMS, ensuring compliance and improvement.
• Implement Cyber Essentials Plus and other security standards.
• Develop and update security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage mitigation plans.
• Respond to security incidents and lead investigations.
• Report on security performance to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with other departments to embed security practices.
• Deliver security training and awareness.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Evaluate third-party vendors for security compliance.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing ISO 27001 ISMS.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Valid UK driving license.
