IT Security Incident Response Analyst – Solihull

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Incident Response Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents within the organization. This role involves monitoring security systems, analyzing threats, and implementing measures to mitigate risks, ensuring the organization's information assets are protected.

The salary on offer for this position will be between £40,000 and £50,000 plus benefits, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact.
• Conduct forensic investigations to identify the root cause and extent of breaches.
• Develop and implement incident response plans, processes, and playbooks.
• Collaborate with the IT Security team to enhance monitoring and detection capabilities.
• Maintain current knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve response strategies.
• Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for staff on incident response.
